Donations will be used to support the current initiatives:
The ALPHA Effect
The thirty-session ALPHA program is an expensive and time-intensive process, involving the use of highly
specialized equipment as well as the concentrated efforts of several certified auditory training consultants
and technicians to move the program forward. At this higher level of giving, you can help us put a child
through a program that would cost each needy family thousands of dollars in a private therapeutic setting.
Each contribution helps to defer the basic costs that Sierra Dove absorbs of the technical and one-on-one
assistance required to bring a child successfully through the program. Your contribution paves the way for a
child on the journey to a stronger academic foundation and a brighter future.
In addition, contributions of Children's games or puzzles are popular, as are magnetized marbles, building
blocks, Legos, and Duplo toys. Art Supplies, such as markers, paints, crayons, construction paper and
drawing paper can be transformed into works of art and are always appreciated.
Arts In The Making
Through a series of 2 hour workshops that bring professional artists and musicians together with homeless
and at-risk youth, Arts In The Making is making it’s own impact in Seattle, Albuquerque and Santa Fe.
Originally designed to raise awareness about the number of homeless teens and young adults living on the
streets, Arts In The Making has become a bridge between homeless teens and at-risk youth and community
volunteers through a sharing of mutually interesting activities and passions involving visual arts, music,
movement and dance. The workshops provide a respite from the issues of homeless survival as well as
being an opportunity for healing through creative self expression and a window of opportunity to "see" clearly
to the other side of street life. Art gets made, poetry gets written, music gets played, and people get moved.
What we learned first hand is that these teens also love Art, Music and Movement and for the time we are
together, life is better. Over 100 artists have been involved with putting these workshops together since the
inception of this initiative in 2003 with an equal number of homeless teens participating. Arts In The Making
continues to expand to cities across the country.
Volunteer artists are the mainstay of Arts in the Making and we regularly welcome new artists to join our
crew. We provide training and support for all volunteers and to teams of artists ready to introduce Arts in the
Making to their communities. Contributions of art supplies and healthy snacks are also always welcome.
Eating SmART
This summer camp program is enhanced by innovative contributions from local volunteers who have
projects, hobbies or unusual interests to share with the children enrolled in the program. Volunteers can
assist as a single day commitment or as ongoing assistance throughout the summer one morning a week.
Certain days of the week will be oriented around: nutrition, play/exercise, performing arts, gardening, and
interactive games. Are you passionate about: playing the guitar, making costumes out of thrift store finds,
cutting and pasting paper, amending the soil in your garden, baking pies, bicycle safety or any other thing
that involves art, music and moving the body? If you are willing to donate your time during the summer we
can put your innate passions and interests to work serving kids in need in Lincoln County in a very fulfilling
way!
Donations of art materials, paper, gardening tools, board games, percussion instruments, costume/prop
items, and seeds or plants are always greatly appreciated as well.
The Arts & Literacy Encounter
There is an on-going search for artists interested in planning summer and after school enrichment programs
for children in Lincoln County. We welcome your contributions as teachers and educators.

A Call to Action: A Gift Worth Giving
"You/We are the 'Ones' we have been waiting for ... "This is it ... Nobody else is coming to do it."
"We are accountable and responsible for all the decisions and actions we make throughout our lives.
When an opportunity for service presents itself, we have three choices:
We can choose to walk away because the service work takes us out of our comfort zone.
We can choose to do the work because we think we will derive a specific something personally from it.
When we perform acts of service for personal gain or approval or public acclaim, that itself is the payment
received.
We can choose to do the work because it is the right thing to do. We recognize that there is work to be
done, and we take personal responsibility for completing it. There is no external reward for right action.
During, or in the course of said project, life may become more challenging. While engaging in a project that
benefits the greater good, reassess, adjust, and allow these challenges to strengthen and build character.
Character paves a road, an inroad, and along this Path every step and all associated actions are simply a
matter of choice. There is no "monetary" payment from Source, no buying our way into heaven, for
completing "the right and appropriate action".
"What should concern us most is our Afterlife. We must not fool ourselves into believing we can buy our
way into heaven or that heaven will pay us for the doing of right action. Also, know if we do not do our
part in assisting our local community, we are not truly collectively serving or evolving. It is Folly, and it is
with great peril to the eternal aspects of our Being that we entertain such thoughts of separation and
illusion. Without appropriate Wisdom, all activity will become self-delusional."
"We are leaving a positive or negative impression, every moment with every breath. Our words,
thoughts and deeds reflect our moral character. Remember, we are not expected to be perfect ... We just
need to do the right thing 51% of the time and Spirit will help with the other 49%."
"We just need one person in a
community to come forward
with an idea that serves the
whole — a person who is willing
to be accountable, to take
responsibility for positive
growth in their community, in
their World."

Objectives
Getting involved in bettering the community in which you live is the most
profound way that you can help further the work that Jozef has implemented.
Jozef’s goal is to have 51% of a community involved in selfless, public
service that benefits the greater good. We are asking All to reach deep
within finding that place where your Soul resides. Finding, Releasing and
giving life to the expression of your Soul- Who we came to be. Join a
concerted effort of "everyday people" who are "Making" an incredible and
lasting gift of extraordinary significance!
For many of us this expression of selfless service takes us out into the
community, into schools and homeless shelters, becoming active
participants in enriching the lives of others while achieving our greatest
potential.
For others it is their monetary support of these very projects that is
instrumental in bringing them to fruition. All of Jozef’s projects go forward
primarily through volunteerism and private donations. Which ever of these
options you choose we urge you to take an active roll in something bigger
than yourself and to do it today. Our good intentions count for nothing until
they are backed up with action.
